Important Boundary Lines
Durand Line: It is the boundary between India and Afghanistan demarcated by Sir Mortimer Durand in 1896.
Hindenberg Line: The Line to which the Germans retreated in 1917 during the World War I, defines the boundary between Germany and Poland.
McMohan Line: The boundary between China and India and demareated by Sir Henry McMohan; China does not recognise this line.
Maginot Line: It is the boundary between France and Germany.
Oder Nicsse Line: It is the boundary between East Germany and Poland.
